Forced to Dodge Queue in Ranked

Someone in my game wanted to ADC, but I wasn't too particularly fond with his lane so I politely declined. Another player requested that I pick Maokai for him so he could trade with me.

However, he wasn't going to accept any of the trade offers by the end of champ select, so I was forced to dodge because I didn't really want to Maokai ADC. I'm guessing the two was a duo and this was a really mean way to get me to dodge :(

Meanwhile, I'm the one that has to suffer the consequences of dodge timers and LP loss.

never trading champs in champ select again :(

First of all, if you weren't having a gun forced into your head,"forced" is the wrong word.

Second, you shouldn't pick based on the intent to trade until you have a clear communication of what you are picking and what they are picking. It looks like you had a desire to pick but nothing worked out in stone as to which champion he'd be picking for you. If you weren't certain he'd have your desired champ, why did you pick the trade?

It's always better to pick the champ for your lane than pick a risky or questionable trade. They could always pick their champion themselves, but you can't go undo the pick you have if they decide not to trade or to play someone else.
