Why do guys hate on girl gamers?
I just think its kinda stupid since we all love the same thing; video games. yet some of us have to hate on others which is downright despicable

Depends on what type of "girl gamers" you are talking about There are those girl gamers that play to enjoy themselves

The ones who get flack for the whole "girl gamer" thing aren't the ones who play games; they are the ones who use their sex as a means to get attention, subs, and donations from the sad-ass guys they're manipulating while **simultaneously ** making it hard out there for the women who actually want to just play some games.
It's the internet and people are able to talk shit to other people with-out the recourse of punishment.
I think it's because we still identify them as "girl gamers" instead of "gamers" and stereotype them so.
Like, honestly, I don't give a shit. Unless a pair of Drake and Josh is going to improve your gameplay, it doesn't matter. If you suck at this game, I don't care what kind of chromosomes you're packing.
No one hates on girl gamers, what we hate on is the people that use their sex to try and gain attention, play the game and don't tell anyone, on the internet everyone is anon.
One time I got yelled at in a normal game for being a girl. This person realized I was a girl because of my name (PandahHeart) and proceeded to go off on me for "being a girl" said that I shouldn't be "allowed to play video games, like League" and called me multiple names like "cnt" and "whore". I'm not sure why they would do that because we were winning the match and it was just a normal game lol.
Because of what others do (opening b**bs etc on Twitch), we girls are cursed.
this is the internet. if you say Anything about yourself people are going to hate on it. its not at all specific to girl gamers.

I don't care if a woman or man plays the game. I do hate however if female streamers use their "advantages" to get an audience. I also detest if a female has to explicitly mention that she's a girl in game. I don't care about your gender. Play the damn game!
All I see and all I know about you is how good you are at this game, and your attitude about it. I've seen guys and girls be good and bad, toxic or pleasant. If anything, there's just fewer girls, and that's all that skews opinions.
we dont h8 girl gamers we h8 that ppl have to distinguish themselves as something as like categories like girl gamers, gay gamers, and other types of labels on gamers that are not necessary cuz in the end no one should care what kind of gamer u are and that ur just a gamer like everyone else and it shouldnt really be used as a way to make urself feel different from everyone else. in the end the h8 is really towards those ppl that want to make themselves feel different by putting labels on themselves making other ppl like them feeling like a steriotype which isnt good message to send.

I personally would love it if I ran into more girl gamers when playing, because they usually have a unique opinion and play style in comparison to most guys. I always hear that the hardest thing for gamers is getting their friends who aren't guys to play with them, so why on earth would you think guys hate girl gamers?
EDIT: The "guys who hate girl gamers" are probably the same guys who: Hate on their team when losing, Hate on people for not having as many kills, Hate on people for mentioning any sort of religion (i.e. X: OMG. Y: Wait, U believe in God? What a #$%^ing #$%^ scrub"), and Hate on players on the enemy team who are doing poorly. Other than that, they are likely upset by "girl gamers" who are trying to garner excessive attention because of their sex instead of just playing the game like a normal person.
I was in a ranked game with Kaceytron on new years eve and she ruined my final promo by taking ahri botlane. But it was all good because she gifted me and we had a friendly conversation and she is smarter than she appears.
I think it's sad that about half the league community does... i was playing this game and so just by the way they were chatting you could tell they were a girl... but they were having a bad game. So the midlane doesnt only flame, he flames for them being a girl. Needless to say I used peacekeeper power and carried but it really is kinda stupid... although some girls deserve it when they go "Just so y'all know, I'm a GIRL playing league of legends" then i dont have an issue with those numbskulls... but seriously people why does gender even matter?! This is the most gender neutral place ever! It literally has no physical requirements except clicking and pressing keys! Chill the fuck out, and dont even mention gender. Just ignore the flamers and act like nothing is happening. The whole issue is people saying "Girl gamers" vs "gamers" Its the same fuckin thing... gamers. All gamers. But really the sad thing is this is one of the main reasons why riot wont put in a voice chat... (yes i get there are other gameplay concerns and lag and such but this would be a major issue if those were sorted out)

I don't get it at all. I have MAJOR respect for any girl gamer out there, who have to wade through all of the trash that toxic players throw at them.
