Helping out your fellow leaguers!

ive encountered random people again and again in league matches who have called me ''nice'', most of them have been on the enemy team, though I really dont do anything to be nice, I just try to offer understanding and support to everyone whenever I can, like if someone on their team is doing bad and would allchat something like ''im doing terrible'' I usually try to reply saying ''aww dont feel bad, we all have bad games every now and then! Cheer up, and gl on your next game'' they usually start feeling better immediately, which makes me happy! Ive also had some encounters with salty people like an akali one game where she was getting fed and I managed to get her and she allchatted saying ''fuck you, you emo bitch I hope you die'' ive actually had some people tell me that :( but I know they dont mean it, I know theyre just upset cause im trying to offer a more competitive and fun match; my friends would tell me to ignore them, but I would reply to them with something like ''im sorry I killed you, but its just a game, and youre doing amazing you'll just bounce back again so please dont be too upset. For what its worth I am sorry if I had upset you, it wasnt my intention.'' ive had people add me after game and tell me stuff like ''wtf why were you so nice to me I was salty af to you'' and I would simply reply ''cause we all get in a bad mood every now and then, and im not gonna make things worse for you, but instead ill try to help you out of it >.< ive had people on the enemy team who are losing badly to us and they would still be nice to me cause im nice to them, which is extremely rewarding! I played a game against the nicest people earlier, one of them allchatted me as we just got their inhibitor ''gg ashe (I was playing ashe) for once im actually happy about losing xD you deserve to win, ty for being nice, we need more people like you! Keep being awesome!'' anyways, Im writing this post cause of something I usually tell people, which is im not ''nice''. Im just me. When im at the grocery store or somewhere where there's a long line, I prefer to let people come in front of me (unless if im in a hurry), it makes me happy to hear them say ''ty'' it makes me feel good about myself, and I assume that others do it for the same reason, though I do have to say that I am shocked to see that there are a lot of ''toxic'' people in this community. Ive been playing league for about a year now and im surprised at how some people would still yell at me and get upset when I try my best to cheer them up :( what are your thoughts on this guys? Do you do what I do and try to go out of your way to help others feel better about themselves? Do you defend someone if he/she is being attacked by teammates/opponents with bad words? Do you think I should stop doing that? Keep in mind I never throw a game, or even go afk. I always try my best to win. If someone on their team tries something like ''hey let me win or ill be sad'' I would reply saying ''im sorry but it wouldnt be fair for my team if I threw. So Im gonna try my best and I hope you do as well, the best of luck to you!'' anyways, im gonna stop right here cause im typing too much >.< let me know what you guys think about this please~!
