why do most people say the assassin rework is not good?

after the recent update many of he champions got reworked. but many people are saying that the assassin rework was a waste. someone pls tel me why this is happening because i played as assassins recently and they were just fine and i didnt get destroyed instantly so either i'm getting the wrong idea or its just personal preference

Some were buff to OP and some were nerfed hard, that's why.

Because they generally all got trashed or made even more counterintuitive to the point of the rework, except for a few.
