The Legends of League: Chapter 1
The cushions of the seat were rather sunk from the long shift of waiting inside, the confines of this small capsule making him stiff and stand in order like a soldier at a boot camp. The capsule itself would rotate in an odd motion as he tried to find the ejection lift. His head was flowing with blood here and there as he could see the sun shining and then vanishing again. The ship he is in is known as a capsule, or rather a pill shaped mechanism designed for transport. SLAM! We’ve made impact, sand began to appear and the intense heat slipping into the capsule he kicked the window down cracking it into millions of pieces. “Begin cultural ascend,” the robotic drone voice said inside his capsule as his body began to burn immensely, strips of thread began to form above his arms, the heat stopped and he dropped to his knees on the ground. He turned over to what was left of the capsule and saw that his body was covered in a desert-like type of clothing, mostly white with a dark grey hood over his head to protect him from the sun and loose baggy white pants neatly sown and made for comfort. “That machine is perfect,” the young man said to himself as he adjust the tunic and roamed the premises. It was a desert alright, he hid his headphones under the hood and began to walk. “Girl,” he turned on his headphones as a female cyber humanoid appeared before him, “Can you give me the coordinates to the closest civilization?” The girl wandered and opened a rectangular blue screen to load a map, “Censors indicate a mass civilization a few miles North.” The man thanked the hologram as it evaporated back into his headset. “No problem, Kako.” Kako pursued Northward attempting to climb the annoying sand hills that sunk his feet in, “Damn sand,” he grumbled complaining why deserts even need sand. His complaints stopped as a bright light blinded his vision. “Sh**!” He accidently slipped out as he lifted his arm over the brightness. It wasn’t the sun, but a massive disk hovering above a kingdom. “Mister Kako,” the girl said, “Welcome to Shurima.”
The city was the shining center of the desert as it was like a shining beacon. Kako attempted to climb down the sands of Shurima by trying to slide, he was somehow successful until a rock hit his path and causes him to tumble to the ground level. He spat out sand that was in his mouth and stood back up. The city however was a long way away from Kako as a sort of gate led there followed by a downward staircase that descended to a long narrow bridge that took you to the center of Shurima. The city itself was almost floating, the bottom part of it reflective as if the floating empire was powered by the sun disk. Kako noticed the sands beside the gate were sunk and were sinking to the center like a massive bowl of emptiness where the sand should be. “It’s so beautiful…” Kako mumbled, he was about to enter the gates but he was stopped by two guards that spawned from the sand. “HALT! No trespassers are allowed in the gates of Shurima,” the guard on the left stated pointing a spear directly at the boy’s neck. “Calm down! Do I look harmful?” Kako crossed his arms in annoyance. “No entry!” They continued to glare at the man until he turned around and talked to the machine on his forearm. “Girl, is there another way—,” His feet felt a vibration below him, something was moving underground. His eyes widened and turned to the guards, “Did you…feel that?” He was in disbelief. “I swear if you’re using sorcery we’ll--,” The vibration came again and they paused as well. “It’s…her,” The guard on the left finally spoke in fear. “ROUND UP THE TROOPS! CALL THE SUN PRINCE!” The guards ran through the gates and headed to the city. “YOU BASTARDS WHAT ABOUT ME!” Kako yelled and charged towards the gate only to be thrown back by some magical force. “Damn it!” He cursed, the ground shook even more. Then it happened: a massive beast rose from the sands and left a massive purple glowing abyss beneath her. The beast stood over 20 feet tall, towering the man who stood his ground. Kako looked down, “Initiate battle sequence,” The man looked up as the beast slammed her fist down, he swiftly jumped back and dashed up her arm, he then leaped SOOOOOONIIIIIIIIIC KICK swung his leg crashing against the beast’s face causing it to be knocked back. He kneeled, “Urgh…damn it…I forgot this isn’t the training simulators…they actually have some recoil,” He stood up, “Looks like I’m gonna have to use the real deal.” Kako smirked as he pulled out a strange handle, switching a button withdrew a massive lighted blade. The beast charged towards him as he readied his swing, the beast swung it’s mighty fist sideways having Kako duck as he took a swing at the monster. It hit, but the beast blasted a flaming spark from her mouth knocking back the man and having him tumble and be knocked to the ground. “Sh**….” He tried to get up, but the pain from that shock almost paralyzed him. The predator prowled down the sands ready to give the final blow to the hero. She lifted her arm, but something swooped in front of the man and pushed the creature back. “RISE!” The brave voice commanded as soldiers rose from the sands and slammed against the beast. “Who…Who’re you?” Kako looked up at his rescuer, the bird-like creature looked down at the man offering his hand of claws, “Azir, Prince of Shurima.”
Azir lifted the boy off his feet as Kako regained his stance. “I suppose you know a thing or two about magic,” Kako smirked, “I haven’t seen magic in centuries.”
“IT’S SHOWTIME!” Kako grabbed his weapon and charged at the beast, Azir chuckled, “For being someone that has fallen you sure got a raging spirit.” Kako gripped his blade and swung again slashing the beast’s side, it left a dent and had Kako recoil. “Damn, you’re tough as a rock,” He said before Rek’sai huffed and slammed Kako to the sand. However before Rek’sai could crush his bones Azir spawned another soldier that went between her foot and the ground, the soldier’s spear stabbing her foot. Rek’sai roared in anger and frustration as she crushed the soldier with one fist making it turn once again into sand. Her eyes darted at the prince as he was her new target. Kako, lying on the ground, saw Azir in danger. Kako grabbed his weapon off the ground and pressed a few buttons onto it, suddenly the blade transformed and split into two guns. “Initiate dual wielding ranged weapons,” The robotic voice said as Kako grabbed into the two handles. He flipped off the ground and fired his guns at Rek’sai to get her attention. “Hey, Xenomporph-Reject!” Kako yelled, “I’m your entrée for today!” He fired his guns faster and faster. It led to Rek’sai getting extremely pissed and burrowing inside the sand, heading towards Kako.
“Azir! Use your soldiers to restrain her, I got an idea!” Kako ordered as he sprinted down the sand trying to avoid Rek’sai’s anger. “Sh**! SH**!” He sprinted faster seeing her on his tail. “HURRY! WE’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT!”
Azir grunted and finally summoned as much soldiers as he can, all of them surrounding Rek’sai and keeping her restrained and stuck. Kako chuckled, “Here’s the finale!”
Form: Blade-Combat!
The two guns flew off his hands and turned into the blade once more. With that in mind Kako grabbed the blade and dashed fast at Rek’sai. His blade pierced her armored skin, he then repeatedly stabbed Rek’sai jabbing the blade like a fencer. “LIFT OFF!” He yelled as the final hit formed a strange circular object that caused a powerful force to have the creature fly across the sands and landing a few yards away. To Kako, she was just a small dot in the distance, the creature screeched and retreated into a hole.
MISSION COMPLETE! Azir leveled up! Kako leveled up!
Kako fell to the ground, exhausted and in pain while Azir brushed off his shoulders. "Hmph, you mortals get exhausted pretty easily," Azir spawned a few soldiers to carry the man into the city. "For someone who looks like my grandma's pet bird, i wouldn't be talking," Kako smirked before he passed out.
