Am I alone wondering why self gifting would not be allowed during the MSI pentakill/baron steal promo? I really wanna spend money here but I have to beg some friends for a trade...which I won't do Please Riot, unlock self gifting for a week so I can give you my money. OR, at least, Someone enlighten me about why NOT allow self gifting right now

Deep Terror Nami1 votesIf you like to purchase Mystery Skins for yourself often, it might be worthwhile (or a huge burden on your wallet) to level up a smurf just to buy RP on and gift yourself. I would but I like the Mystery too much and would buy more than I should lol.
SloMoTurtle1 votesYes, where mystery gifting in general is concerned , that makes total sense But when there is a limited time event as currently, wouldn't it make total sense not to tie the promo to the condition of a friend having to gift you? I'm sure a lot of people would open up their wallet just for the promo and wouldn't otherwise (like myself).

SloMoTurtle1 votesI actually have a lvl20 smurf I can use and would never trust someone on the internet for a trade like that (no offense intended) The point of my post is really to understand if there is any good reasons not to activate a convenient feature during such an event Why the hell not?! xD
