Another "im done with League" rant

Ill concede it, im not very good at this game due to my own fault and flaws. I refuse to play aggressively, i report anyone who plays something i deem op on the spot, and im toxic. But ive clearly lost all understanding of this game over the past 2 years ive played it. I dont know if its just me, but i feel as if league of legends has turned into simply a cuck fest, where people strive to keep opposing players down through camps and constant ganks, versus allowing the player to actually have a shot at carrying the game.

This team game has lost so much of its overall potential, because of seeing epic 5v5s, or masterful and entertaining duels, we see people dying in circumstances that they couldn't possibly outplay. Now certainly, that doesn't mean not dying to a gank is unavoidable, but it just means that you are inhibited from reaching your full potential as an individual player.

In addition, this game is full with a plethora of sheerly toxic champions, both over and under powered. We have assassins, whose sole goal in any given game is to make an opposing carry literally want to cry by simply killing them without any meaningful counterplay. There are the many bruisers to choose from, such as Darius or Illaoi , who seem to be able to pull off 1v1's that just empirically dont make sense.

Elder Dragon and Baron are so insanely overpowered just by themselves, that they can turn the entire course of a game with a single smite, reversing 30-40 minutes of hard work from the opposing team.

Instead of fixating upon balance, Riot continuously takes the majority of their brainpower and focuses on skin development, instead of sitting down, and having a realistic, non idealistic, hard look at some of the older champions who need substantial reworks ( galio, urgot, zilean, soraka, tryndamere, darius, garen, nasus, the list goes on and on.)

This does not mean i do not love this game, thats what makes this so fucking horrible. I've spent 2 years playing and enjoying it, its such a shame that Riot cant take their honestly brilliant game play design, and just put it to work, slowly fine tuning everything before deciding to stack more content on top. Because you see, constantly adding new champions doesn't make the game better or more balanced, it just stalls the eventual necessary retouching of already existent champions. Its like throwing wood on a burning building and saying " hey, at least we added this new wood that will replace the old when it burns away".

Anyhow, sorry for the whiny rant. My life is really going in a good direction right now, but league has consistently challenged this by taking up so much of my time, and giving me so little back.

I do wish to thank this game for giving me some of my best friends though.

Oh, and fucking Nerf Oriana already.
