Remember its just a game!
As of late due to bonus IP in Flex Q I decided to play some ranked. I don't play ranked all that often. I felt it was a place were folks just took things way to seriously. For me, Its just a game. I play what champ/roles are fun for me. I play Jungle Aatrox. AS Varus ADC. Muramana Kassidin AND Talon. Heck I even have a build for Poppy called the Dinner Plate Of DOOOOOM
But in every game I have been in it seems that folks just don't get that its just a game. Im talking about my ADC reporting me (Jungle) for my Mid for losing to a Raka Mid (I'm bronze so this can happen to me or my teammates, no hate). Others raging about my AS Varus build (
) and calling me a troll. Im only 3 games in and afraid to go back for more IP. And in my Aatrox game, when I said "Look im trying my best. I don't play ranked normally. I'm just here for the IP but I'm still trying" THREE players told me that im a troll and need to not play ranked if I have that mindset. So if "Trying my best" is the wrong mindset what is the right one?
Also I should not have to worry about my team flaming me for every little mistake I make. This only happens in ranked and all it dose is tilt me and make me play worse cause I second guess everything. Im Bronze. Perhaps low Silver if I stuck to my mains. Im going to mess up.
Now Im not saying you should bust out AD Raka Jungle No Smite just cause its fun in ranked. You still got 9 other folks who may care a lot about their ranks. But if your picking something that fits your role and you try your best then that's all we can ask for. So all in all folks. Remember, its just a game. Even in ranked.
P.S. That Dinner Plate of Doom build for poppy is no joke. Try her in the Jungle with
