Welcome to the latest installment of Between Two Turrets, a new Q&A series from the NA Community team in which we'll connect you with various Rioters to chat about League, life, and anything in between. You can expect an installment every couple weeks or so, with Rioters from all over jumping in to spend some time with you on the boards.

Hey all! My name is Clark Smith and I'm a Broadcast Observer at Riot Games. You may also know me as ClakeyD, or if you follow fighting games, the guy who got "murderfaced" AKA best Ibuki world xD. Some of the things I do at Riot include stats and content production for PrimeTime League, as well as operating the in-game spectator camera for the NA LCS. I like to follow Jinx rockets and Caitlyn ults across the map as well as show you guys when Dyrus is getting camped.

I'm here to answer any questions you have whether they be about my work at Riot, my time in the LCS, life, even love! As far as my personal passions go, my main boo is obviously video games. Other things I enjoy are traveling, eating, skydiving, wearing flip flops, browsing reddit, and I'm looking into taking up archery!

Do you have an approximate time until the mystery champs will be given out and, What is your favorite skin team in the entire game, Mine is the old pool party skins, and what is your favorite item, mine is probably Blade of the ruined king.

Is it hard to manage the observation of an LCS game with all the things that happen simultaneously on the map or when there was a play in the midlane that you missed because you just showed some botlane interaction and you have to show this later as a replay?

Also: What was the most stressful game - in terms of "there is too much stuff happening all around the map" - that you had to observe in the NA LCS?

Hey Clakey. I was introduced to you through fighting games. I enjoyed watching your tron bonne during the early stages of mvc3. Your ibuki was fun too. And I remember you getting murderfaced by Tokido ;P. I was surprised when you joined MRN for league of legends.

Do you still play fighting games? And what are your thoughts on SFV?

Hey Clakey, great job as an observer so far! I have 3 questions:

During the slow moments of games in between major rotations/pushes/fights/derps, how do you decide which player to focus on in relation to how the casters build up to the next major play?
What's the most interesting thing you've noticed, observing the LCS as opposed to playing in it, as the game and the professional scene has changed?
What's your best memory working since coming to work at Riot?
