Just won 226 IP from FWotD, spent 225 IP on tier 1 and 2 runes

Does anyone else feel like IP won from surrenders is "dirty money" ? Like, before a single inhibitor turret is down, how can anyone say that either team won or lost? Even if one side has a 13/0 Ezreal pushing down mid with an 11/4 Gnar, only two dragons have been taken, no barons, most of the map is still unwarded and uncontrolled by either side, how can people think they know how the game will end up? Have people not heard of Xpeke? Base races, backdoors, consecutive aces, a handful of picks, proper warding, baron steals, 5th dragon steals, you name it, there are plenty of ways to come back in a game. I just can't understand why people think these things never happen, because they do. What do you guys think? Is it ever acceptable to surrender? Does it ever annoy you when people give up without really ever trying? When is it okay to stop looking for a way out?
