How would someone know me in game? Name IRL? Kinda creepy?

Hey guys, me and my friends just played a game with these guys. I won't say their at this time. Since they could be indeed my friends from facebook or IRL. lol Anyways, but it was kinda creepy, the fact that the opposing player (whom I assume never met before, he wasn't on the friends list as well) said my REAL NAME. I wish I could capture the snapshot of it. But he said something like "Same old same old...REAL NAME," and me and my friends were WTF. I don't know whether he's a genuine hacker or a distant friend. But that was totally weird... Did something like this ever happen to you guys? Just wondering... :o If there is a program to see the player's personal info somewhere by using a 3rd party program. Riot should say something about this you know ...

PS. I tried to add him on friends list to talk to him, to see if he is indeed my friend or not lol

If your name is Dick he might have just been calling you a dick.

Is your name among those most spammed in history like John, David or idk maybe your name is Noob? That's prob why as well.

Could be someone you used to play with who got a summoner name change after not being on your friends list for a while. Maybe someone you used to skype with while playing ect.

funny enough i met someone in one game that knew me from another game. this game i knew him from was a really small game also not very widely played in europe and it was crazy that we were matched togehter in a league of legends game

so maybe it was just coincidence and he was someone who knows you from somewhere ;)
