Personally, I feel that only a few champions summon. As an ability.(

) Correct me if I have missed a few. I just feel that some sort of summoning champ could be plausible. Maybe, they could have aura abilites kind of like Sona, but with Yorick's ghouls. I feel that with only a few champions able to summon, that a couple added would make game play more challenging. I'm open to any constructive discussion.

So all in all I count 16, I can kinda see myself disagreeing with lulu, so lets say 15. Which is a reasonable number.

they could add a new one i suppose. the pets do add another dimension of difficulty to the game, at least in terms of controlling htem for me.

PackRat951 votesActually, I didn't miss Elise. I did miss Heimerdinger though. Malzahar, nah. I mentioned about summons, not pets. Moakai could technically have his E counted as a Summon. I also should have clarified about champions that combo their moves together as a summon.
I just meant as a summon. Like Annie, Who's R is SUMMON: TIBBERS, etc. I will admit, I did miss Hiemerdinger. He slipped my mind, I meant controlled summons. Like, Tibbers. Or Shaco's clone, Morde's ult, etc.

Edit: But anyways I get your point. I would also be okay with seeing a "summoner" champion that functions as a mage with a summoned pet (that has abilities). It'd be pretty cool.
PackRat952 votesThat did slip my mind. (I've come down with the flu today, so there's a lot I'm not taking into consideration.) I still see them more as pets, because they stick by you. Controlled more by a passive and ability versus just activating the ability that summoned them.

PackRat951 votesYou must not have read how I described it before hand. I'm saying, when it says on the ability that it summons said figure. Then, you re-activate it to move it and attack. That's what I am getting at. Pet's are normally summoned by a passive, and the activation of any other ability. I'm saying. They should make more champions that use summons. As you summons them, then move them around WITH the ability you used to summon them with.

But what's your argument for it? The more times they make an ability work the same way the less fun it will be because everyone does it.
And you saying you missed heimer is not true, heimer towers don't fall under your definition, as well as yorick ghouls but you still mentioned him in the OP.
PackRat951 votesI can agree, with the Yorick statement. I was really more focused on Tibbers. On how he was able to be controlled by reactivating the spell. I was just using Yorick as an additional example. Personally, I've never played Yorick. I'm not totally in the dark about him either. Mostly, I intended the OP the be more revolved around Tibbers. Even though I didn't mention anything about him. I find it difficult to put everything I'm thinking about onto a post.

Solrock1 votesI do agree on this. I would love to see a support summoning champion. Like someone who could summon a healing pet, that heals allies for x amount for a few seconds or something. Or it could provide auras for a short period of time.
