Guys dont get angry at someone who is intentionally throwing your gane because you might get banned

Hi Colonelgoatspanker,

As a new initiative to reduce the amount of toxicity within League of Legends, we’ve recently begun to audit players’ accounts for extreme cases of toxic behavior. Every account punished by this system was personally reviewed by someone at Riot to ensure accuracy.

After having reviewed your account, the decision to issue a 2-week suspension was made due to the extreme cases of toxicity we found. This type of toxic behavior has no place in League of Legends, and we will continue to punish players who exhibit this behavior.

Here are some chat logs from those games played that were negative. These are only a few of many chat logs that displayed negative behavior. Please know that this suspension is a warning before a possible permanent suspension.

This type of behavior is not acceptable and is why the suspension was placed. When there is nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. If you do not show any tendency toward improving your behavior, you may see harsher punishments.

Glad to see that Riot doesn't like the double standard of that word either. Additionally the constant harassment of the other player through that whole game should show you why you got banned.

sorry im african american and i can assure you it wasnt used in anger its just another word in my dictionary if i called him a "nigger" thats different it obviously wasnt intended to be racist because if i was going to be racist i wouldve changed the last two letters to be racist, and i was telling ekko to stop crying all game because he wanted to ruin a game because of a stolen kill

I'm white, which is why it frustrates me.

If I were to say that, regardless of what form it was used in, it'd be racist. That's what I meant by the double standard.

In my eyes the word is either able to be utilized by everyone, or no one at all.

I'm pretty sure your ban came from that in combination with the fact that you were all over that guy the entire game. Doesn't matter why you did it, you did it all the same.

Nobody cares if you get angry. You don't get banned for being angry.

You get banned for acting like a jerk. I dunno if you noticed, but your log is full of jerk comments. But I'm betting it's the hate speech that actually earned you the ban.

its actually me telling the guy to stop crying and stop making us lose because i took a kill i guess its kinda bias because you couldnt see what he was saying all game

It's got nothing to do with me not being able to see what he was saying. Rather, it's more that what he was saying is irrelevant. You don't get to act like a jerk just because someone else was acting like a jerk. That's not how it works.

listen man its hard to keep cool when youre in a cooker 2 and 2 on your series and have someone intentionally ruin the game for everyone else and then get banned for it like you were being racist or homophobic for telling the guy to shut up and play the game but i guess i see your point

I understand. Or rather, I sympathize. Frustration - especially in Ranked - is effectively inevitable. Nobody faults you for being frustrated. The problem comes in when you take that out on other people.

On a separate note - you should probably take any variation of the word "nigga" out of your in-game vocabulary. Since there's no way to recognize race, all uses of that extremely racially-charged word are viewed as racist.

I asked support about this before and they replied: Thank you for contacting us about your concerns on this issue. While Lyte posted publicly on the topic of ranked rewards and toxicity,** this initiative and its criteria are still being discussed**. Everyone has bad days, and I understand you've worked hard all season, not only to earn rewards but on keeping a level head when dealing with in-game frustrations. We don't by any means want to disregard players who are actively making changes to negative habits.
