So I worked my but of playing my ten ranked placement games, here's how it went. Game 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 were all wins. Game 7 was a win, but I d/c'd and received a loss because of it. Game 8 and 9 were losses Game 10 was a win.

So, 7 wins, 3 losses... and I got silver 4. I didn't even do bad in the games that I won/loss, I was always doing fine. Can riot please give us some sort of guide on how rank is decided? Because I don't know about you but a 70% win rate doesn't seem like silver 4 to me. I am incredibly but-hurt, who wouldn't be?

What rank were you last season?

You basically get placed a division or more lower than your rank last season, since it's a new season all.

The only reason you would actually care about this is if you're intimidated by the idea of Silver V

Hell, I went 6-4 and got B3 from S3. It's not that grand of a W/L, but it's still positive. God help those who went 0-10.

Got Silver 4 after going 8-2 in placements. I was in promos for Gold 4 when the season reset.

The placements were complete horseshit.
