Really unfair matchup with proof

I played a game with 4 of my friends this evening and we got literally raped.

The matchup was just ridiculous, I printed my screen of the lolnexus page. I have circled in red the important parts.

5308 wins VS 3073 wins (counting normal + ranked wins)

Maybe it's because their normal ELO that wasn't too high... Riot should change something in their matchup algorithm because this kind of thing can't happen anymore, it just ruined the game. Maybe the normal ELO matchup or MMR should consider the ranked ELO rating too... I don't know, but there is clearly a flaw.

As I remember, the time we waited was relatively short, between 30 sec and 1 min. I would had wait another 5 minutes if it is what it takes to play a evenly match game.

Now don't start talking about crap as "Your team comp was bad" or something like this, it ain't the point of my discussion. I want to know if it's happening to other people frequently or not. We can all upload our bad matchups proof on the thread, maybe it will come across a Riot employee and they could do something about it...

Please help me community of LoL ! (and have a good day :D )

There isn't anything to do with it, the game uses your MMR to calculate matchups and will in certain circumstances allow for a slightly wider gap in skill for games especially normals if it means finding a match fast, unfortunately with regards to normals i don't think this is going to change, if you want something that more closely reflects your teams skill level form a 5v5 ranked team and play that :)

I think OP meant that he would rather have an option to wait longer to get better matchmaking. I guess the MMRs did not even really match in his shown example. You just joined the queue at the wrong time.

How about letting players switch from "Fast" to "Accurate" matchmaking in the options? All this would do is try for ~5 minutes to find an even match and then go back to "Fast" matchmaking if it didn't find anything. Matchmaking is sometimes really weird when you have a premade setup of players of highly different MMRs or summoner levels.

Most players would rather wait 5 minutes for an even match than play a game that is lost in the first 5 minutes due to unfair matchmaking. Or would they?
