I remember when Riot Games released the "Crests od Honor" thing. Back then, you needed about 25 "honorable opponents" to earn yourself the red badge around your character's frame. But nowadays, I don't see anyone with one, and I was wondering why is it so, and is there a way to make it more available, without making them too easy to get? Any thoughts?
There are very few ribbons because there's no real incentive for anyone to give out Honor in the first place.
I currently have the Green("Great Teammate") Ribbon, and I often get switched to the Blue("Great Mentor") Ribbon. I've found that it's pretty simple to get/keep a ribbon. Near the end of the game, I typically mention to my team "Teamwork Honors for you guys, good job", Whether we win or lose(Barring situations where my team was completely toxic), and quite often I end up getting 3-4 honors back in return(Usually a nice mix of honors).
As for Honorable opponent - I seem to get a fair few of those just from chatting with opponents in the post-game lobby.
Being friendly goes a long way lol.
