You want people to wait 20 minutes... then they more easily miss the accept button that shouldn't exist.
Good video games don't have accept buttons.
So you don't care if people play your game?
You end up missing the button 4 times because who the hell sits around for 20 minutes waiting for the accept button to come up?

If you don't leave games, you never have to wait 20 minutes. It's a punishment. It's supposed to be unpleasant
It's an AFK check. If you aren't there for champion select you're wasting everyone else's time, as it is another several minutes that the others have to wait if you end up dodging due to your absence. If you can't stay near your PC for the window where the queue will probably pop the least you can do is turn up your sound so you can hear it wherever you went; if you left the area far enough that you can't pass the AFK check (Accept) then you can't honestly be expected to be available for champion select either.
