Riot, please stop releasing spotlights....

I know this is gonna be an unpopular opinion, but i get REALLY annoyed when riot releases a spotlight for a champ that is still a few days off. Whats the point? All it does is get my hopes up that the champ is coming the next day, but when i get home from work, its still the same old crappy warwick, so my excitement for playing a new/remade champ is instantly killed and i just log off.

I know it seems whinny and impatient, but i just really dont understand the point in releasing a splotlight for a champ that isnt coming the same day or early the next day.

Thoughts?

League patches always come on Wednesday, so you can stop getting hyped up .-.

Just think whenever a spot light comes out that the champ is still like 2 days off. It's really not that bad.
