League is not fun anymore

I'm tired of majority of this game being trolls. I can't stand the fact that they feed enemy team and then the enemy team doesn't report them but instead reports someone who is talking about the feeder. Like what? Seriously? Why haven't riot implemented something to deal with trolls? They refuse to surrender and waste people's time and that is very frustrating. Almost every game i enter its always "X lane or feed". Why can't everyone just be fair and square?

Half the problem here is that the word "troll" has pretty much lost any meaning it once had. A troll isn't someone not playing to your expectations. People who feed and/or lose games aren't trolls.

People who are playing poorly and losing aren't trolls, but quickly tend to turn into one when the accusations of trolling and toxicity start in teamchat.

Hey, I'm with you on that one. I just played a ranked game, and was going to Olaf Top. The team was perfectly fine with it, and I even had a guy who had first pick let me top. Seconds before the game started, the last dude to lock, who should have filled jungle, went top. The guy forced me into jungle. The same dude did very poorly in lane, and with me as Tanklof(even with Titanic, Cinderhulk, and Warmogs) I still could not help my team at all. As Tanklof, I did not deal sufficent damage and was bursted to hell despite 3000+ health.

I know that with the enemy team comp, I could have been a split pushing, and serious bruising asset to my team.

I didn't know how to handle the guy, because I didn't want intentional feeding from spite. We still lost.

This is the second time I've been demoted in a week. People are much more team oriented and calm in Silver 5, my original placement, but Bronze is full of dicks that refuse to play as a team, much less ward, or push objectives.

It's fustrating that teams don't work together iproperly in bronze.

Like, I know I'm at least a decent player to where I shouldn't be constantly losing ranked so much revently. I ward, communicate, ping when needed, and do my best to boost team morale as well as calm down aggro teammates and restore balance for proper team play. If an ally is in need of help and I can, I will do my best to save them, such as heal them, and beat the hell out of the enemy to slow them as much as possible, or try to kill them before they kill an ally.

Remember that the problem is not with Riot. It is the actions that a douchey summoner makes that is the problem. We cannot expect Riot to constantly moniter everyone's last action. They do enough working on things like: What needs balance in the game for playability and fairness? How will the next champion skins look? How can we apply a new champion's gameplay fairly to gameplay? And things of the like.

But my questions are, what can WE do to assist and carry the team thru the Troll Games?

If this is known how to be done situationally, it won't matter how much of a dick THAT guy is, but matters how you handled the game and how you were a very valuable asset to the team, as well as for the outcome of the game.

My question is, does anyone have advice to do this, even in a loss in all lanes?

For instance, lets say you are the ace in the hole, the jungler, and all your lanes where lost early, you haven't died yet, but all enemies have higher cs plus a few kills over you. You are food for them.

I tried tanking in situations like that, only to be outdamaged, and all my health taken, even despite, say, warmogs after Cinderhulk into Titanic Hydra.

Tips, anyone for situations like this in a Troll Game?

I'd like to help make my rough teams win.

Thank you.

Honestly what you just explained has nothing to do with trolls. I'll agree with doc in that it seems like a lot of people misuse the word. Someone feeding, or not playing at their greatest isn't a troll. It's just someone who is bad, or on tilt.

But in all honesty riot does deal with people like this as long as they are doing it consistently. People have bad games and since there are more than a million accounts you can bet you'll see a lot of people. It's not like it's the same people doing this in all your games. It's all different people.

Just as a quick reference here, Troll and Asshole are inter-changeable... and always have been.

I had one hell of a stressful day today (which I won't go into, you're welcome)... but I come home and decide to play a quick game of league. At first I thought... I'll do a ranked game, then I remembered my last ranked game and decided trolls are not for me so I'll just do a nice quiet A.I. game. Anyway I get in game as Lee Sin cause I'd like to practice those ward hop kicks that I'm horrible at. Went jungle for shits n' giggles.. and there's a Nasus top who comes to Krugs unprompted (which is good) but he starts spamming his taunt and his joke. 45 seconds later he's still doing it, so I said... "man I wanna punch you lol... stop please" and he keeps doing it. To keep this as short as possible he trolled his leash by spamming his taunt and joke stopping his autos. He did literally 0 damage, and then walked away and told me, "you're welcome".

Throughout the game he kept calling me a kid and this and that because I told him "Thanks for standing there while I did my fucking camp asshole." after his bullshit and telling me you're welcome afterwards set me off. I had a shitty day, and I don't need some little bastard being a douche bag in what I thought was the last refuge of sincerely kind players (A.I. games). I'm a 30 year old man by the way.

Months ago, when I fist started playing this game I did nothing but A.I. games. One fine game I was playing support doing what I thought you were suppose to... which is everything from trying to prep the ranged minions when a wave came to our turret, to saying I'm sorry when I accidentally took one of his kills, to pinging like crazy and suiciding to get him a penta towards the end of the game. At the end of the game he said basically I was the nicest person he'd ever played with, and one of the best supports he's played with in a long time. Then I get a popup that says I was gifted a champion which happened to be Darius. Now, at the time I just thought he was a really generous person using his (hard earned I assume) money to give someone he just met 20 some odd minutes ago a champion... Here we are today though, and I think the real reason he gifted me is because after you deal with so many trolls and bump into someone who's genuinely a nice person, it feels like you won the lottery... or made it to the end of the rainbow. Regardless the gift isn't appreciated any less by me, I just wanted to make a point of getting this out there to say this is the type of person I am when I am with decent people.

If I was Riot I would literally drop everything and put everyone on solving this problem. Trolls, a.k.a assholes are spreading in this game like wildfire. Not even my A.I. games are safe anymore ffs. I mean... at this point I either play with my nephews in a custom game or I run the risk of HAVING to play with some giant asshole who gets their kicks being a dickhead to other people.

It really doesn't matter if the percentage of these people is low, because it only takes one out of five to ruin a game for you and the rest of your teammates. Hell just watch a streamer like KP who's climbing through Gold atm. Almost every single game has some ass-hat who's hell bent on ruining the game for the rest of their team!
