Riot knew about the Jimmy Butler trade beforehand?

So as an avid league player and NBA fan, I was paying attention to the draft tonight. Nothing much stood out to me, Markelle Fultz went first, Lonzo went to the Lakers, etc., but the one thing that shocked me was the trade that sent Jimmy Butler to Minnesota.

Later this night, I went to League's esports page to catch up on a few different things that Rioters may have written about the NA LCS.

That was when I saw the article: 10 thoughts going into Week 4, which was posted Wednesday afternoon. After reading the short segments about Dignitas and CLG, I noticed two NBA references in the segment about Immortals. It talked about Boston's 3rd pick, which was news from Monday, 3 days ago, and Jimmy Butler, which had not been news yet. Almost all of the news articles regarding this had been written during the draft, nowhere near Wednesday.

Xmithie for Jimmy Butler and Boston's 3rd pick. Who says no?

To me, it somewhat seemed like it was being suggested that Jimmy Butler would be traded very soon, how could Riot know this beforehand? Or could it just be a coincidence?

A lot of these things have a caveat for news related adecdotes. Where they write most of it in advance. But leave parts open so people can weave in something topical last minute without too much effort. Probably a type of person that uses basketball to fill that caveat will be better informed than just recent news because of hobby interest.
