So I figured I'd start my OWN thread
So tell me, what is something interesting you know about league, doesnt matter if its common, just something interesting
Yordles, as you know them today, used to be two distinct races: the furry Yordles and the Meglings (like Tristana). They were entirely separate, but Riot decided that having two short races like that was stupid, so they combined them, and made Meglings the name of a military branch. It ultimately caused issues, since the appearance of the two was so different. Riot's been trying to homogenize them over the years, and explain away differences that remain, with varying levels of success.
Something I learned recently, Meddler revealed that Braum's champion concept was originally a girl, but the design team was aiming for a different kind of character, so they eventually opted to make him a macho man instead.
And while he wasn't the original inspiration, some of the concept came from General Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist. If you watch the series you can see the similarities for yourself. It's pretty clear.
