Ranked series

was just recently in my third game of a series to get out of my bronze 3 league and during picks and bans Radkavich locked in teemo and then left the game as soon as the game launched. Now for everyone else on my team they didnt lose any lp ,because teemo went afk. But since i was in my series it counted as a loss in my series. My question is does riot have any plans to add a system in the future so that when some one afks/leaves in a series game it doesnt count or is this just going to go on till they shut off the league of legends serves
