What happened to featured ranked games?
What has happened to the ability to spectate featured ranked games? It was also interesting to see what top tier players were playing. Maybe I missed something in the patch notes and if so please inform me :)

They often remove that box to make room for promoting a special event. It should come back after the event is over.
However, the games are still being featured, and you can use a third party application to watch them. I use the replay recorder BaronReplays, and you can browse and watch the featured games there even if they aren't currently being shown in the client (you can also choose to view different region's featured matches).
