Just to be clear, Riot has specifically stated that their ideal plan is to get people to move over to the Boards willingly, and that if/when vBulletin is taken down there will be plenty of forewarning. I know that does little to help the current situation, but it is nowhere near the end so don't worry about that factor.

It has been out for 2 days now, it is not riot doing it personally though but a group of hackers ddos'ing the servers for the site. Why they do this you may ask? While that is because they are a bunch of a..holes

From what it looks like, the old forums have been affected by the DDOS'ing that's hit multiple games and servers. Hopefully it'll be back up soon.

The problem comes from the fact that on the Lizard Squads Twitter feed they aren't even mentioning the DDoS.

How can they manage THREE large scale attacks against Sony, Blizzard AND rito AT THE SAME TIME?
