Truly Disappointed

Am I the only one who's been disappointed in the seasonal maps this year (or lack thereof)? No winter themed Summoner's Rift?! I thought Halloween was just because you were maybe preparing something special for winter, but NO! What is this, Riot?! I've been playing since late season one and I've seen a steady decline in how much time you guys put into maps and building backgrounds for new champions in the past couple of years. I used to love this game because of the amount of work that was put into the game to make no only the game-play enjoyable, but the in-game environment as well. Maybe you're too busy with organizing professional competitions or something? I don't know... but it's not only those guys that play the game.

This year was a real let-down, Riot. It's still a fun game, but you're just not what you used to be.

Or the lack of a 5v5 map in general. I mean SR style, but an entirely different place.

It's really sad when you remember the whole reason for the whole rework/revamp of summoners rifts was for things like this. They had an excuse back then because SR before was outdated and could work with the Themes they had in the past. With this rework people assumed that means more theme for when the seasons came out. But alas all we got was minion skins. People assume that the main reason why we didn't get something like that was because it would be free. I don't want to believe that's the case but it's starting to look like it. Just wait how they deal with this years season event. I'm going to assume they'll rehash the minions and not change one thing.
