Leaver Busters System

I have been playing LoL for about 3 years now as a "hardcore" player. There have been alot of changes of the game that I like and alot I don't like but this leaver buster system has to stop. Now I have never personally been in trouble at all in this game but I was playing with my friend on skype and he DC'ed 3 mins before game end from skype and LoL and got this 20 min wait on the Q. I looked over his match history and not a single leave anywhere besides that one. I am located in new England where we get blizzards in the winter and thunder storms in the summer. What better way to pass the time of a storm then a few games of LoL? Lets say I am playing a game in the middle of the storm and my power gets knocked out it is not my fault i left the game but I am going to get punished 20 mins of my time waiting before every game? Real life is more important then a video game people could knock on your door, your dog could be taking a crap on the floor, power outages, you could have a heart attack. If one of those things happen you are already not happy you are already getting punished then to come back to a VIDEO GAME and get punished more is absolutely absurd. I consider myself a good customer I don't spend alot of money on the game but when i have some free cash I will throw some money into it. If you do not support the things you like they will go away right? If I ever got a 20 min wait before games for a stupid reason you can guarantee I will quit the game and not give anymore of my hard earned money to this service!!! I understand that people who leave games frequently should be punished I just feel like this is not the correct way to go about it. This is a video game stuff happens and when my freedoms in a video get tarnished and riot feels more like a government of the game then a service provider is when I will quit. People are so report happy and punishment friendly its ridiculous. If I have a bad game people will report you for feeding, If you get disconnected people report you and you get put in a 20 min Q, If you go ageist the meta and try something new you get reported for trolling. People who take the game so seriously that they get this upset over this stuff really take the fun out of the game. Lighten up on the punishments for stupid stuff but still stay strong on real problems like harassment, and racism. If you take any video game so seriously that you get upset when stupid stuff happens you should probably take a step back and point the finger at yourself and not others in the game because you have issues outside the game you need to take care of. Video games are meant to be fun and relaxing and if you are getting aggravated or stressed out from it you might want to find something else in your life that you enjoy because nobody likes to be mad (except my ex girlfriend). You should enjoy what you do and not hate it! Anyways this is just my 2 cents on a system i fully believe should not be in the game!!!
