I understand you are wanting to split push and farm, but I promise those few stacks and a tower are not worth a lost 4v5 team fight in our base and our nexus. This just in, it is actually possible to group with your team when playing Nasus.
Nasus is a mid game god in grouping...that wither is insane and nobody has the damage yet to shred you while you still should have good enough damage yourself.
Early game farm, mid game group (while maintaining wave control), late game split....best way to play Nasus .-.
