Riot can I please have the 'worse' ward???

Basically, can a Red reply to me whether I can send a support ticket and get a tier 1 ward skin as a ranked team reward even if I earned enough points for tier 2 or 3???

I happen to prefer tier 1 to anything else, but if this is not possible it is really, really limiting and severely anti-fun. It basically means I have to stop playing with my team in ten wins or so unless I want a ward skin I don't like and probably won't use. And it's not like I'm asking for something I didn't earn, in fact, I am asking for less than I've (or will have) earned.

Already sent a support ticket and they said they're not 100% sure and that I should ask Reds on the forums. Hence, post.
