Imagine if we had a real game mode where all 5 players on a team played the same champion. While the other team had the same 5 or maybe 5 of a whole different champion!

This is playable right now actually. Go onto custom games and search "dupe" or "duplicate". You arent actually supposeed to play this mode but people edited the code to play it. It has massive issues like syndras using all the balls on the map to ult and such but thats why riot didnt actually activate it
Well i read section V of the league of legends EULA http://beta.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/eula and it says nothing about modifying the game content for custom games. It only talks about modifying the game content is banable if it give you an advantage or affects other people. If anything this make the game more even since everyone can be the same champion :D, just kidding. But it really isn't banable, according to the EULA.
I love the feel of a "war". I just played a 5 Zyra vs 5 Syndra and it truely felt like plant mages and gravity mages were fighting for their kingdom on the Crystal Scar.
I'm sure the 2 tower limit per whole team thing with heim and a slew of other various issues is why Riot won't support this mode. I think they'd need a fair amount of QA and bug fixing to make this really work.

It would also add more variety if the champion that the teams got was assigned randomly kind of like aram, only everyone on the team gets the same champ. Of course there is the issue with not everyone owning the same champion, and i'm no programer so i dont know how much that would effect this.
While the idea is certainly a novelty and it's being done by people in custom games, Riot has stated that such games could potentially damage your computer, everyone else's computers, or even the servers.
Just imagine Karthus's ult, an already resource intensive action, being performed by ten people at the same time. Chances are someone's computer won't be able to handle it.
If Riot's gonna do it, they'll do it when it's ready.
I do not recommend playing this cuz it could get you banned (but holy crap is 5 teemos or karthus the best thing ever)
