What Internet for League Of Legends + Youtube + Netflix

My current internet is equivalent to how bad teem is, which is saying a lot. As of right now normally around 8-10 pm my brother and sister are on youtube/netflix and it just overloads my internet, causing me to get around 500+ ping. I didn't really know where to begin, and if this is even league related but any advice for me on how to fix this? It might just be that I need better internet or is there a possible way to prioritize my packets versus youtube/netflix packets? thanks in advance Teemo

with 3 people streaming/using the internet extensively, even 10mbps down isnt quite enough. I would shoot for at least 20 down, better 30 or more. you also should get a decent modem (like the Arris sb6141) and a good router (something like the Nighthawk R7000).

Oh, and hardwire in!!! wifi is pathetic for gaming!

and yes, there are ways to prioritize your bandwidth and restrict your siblings bandwidth, but really, unless you are paying for everything, you have no right to give yourself a higher bandwidth!

Don't play league while they're streaming, problem solved. You outlined the times they're usually doing it, so avoid those times. Netflix takes a fair amount of bandwidth, most private residences don't have the capacity to support it along with youtube and League all at the same time.

Honestly internet will only take you so far... Your best bet is to get a router that can handle the traffic properly and/or give you the ability to cap thier downstream/upstream. There are a few gamer specific routers you can check out that will help your situation. If your have a 5Mbit/2Mbit downstream/upstream they won't even notice if u cap all other traffic at a quarter of your bandwidth.
