Where does OP.GG and Chapion.gg gets it data from

I was wondering where these 2 websites get their data to analyze the champions win percentage and matchups (as in the thousands of games there are a day!). Is there any way I could get the same data for my CS project? I wanted to make a website similar to these two for a bit of practice. Thanks for your time -75dragon
