Shen Rework- Discussion

First, I would like to show you guys what I think about Shen and his not shown rework.

Shen is one of League of Legend's most iconic champions. He has been seen in almost every single META. There is nothing impossible to balance with his kit and is one of the most satisfying champions to play. (mostly because of how his abilities sound). If there is going to be a champion rework, I hope that we don't see major changes in his kit (ability to take down turrets fast, tankyness, lane superiority and easy to use abilities). His lore is also in the badass side of things and complements zed's lore.

What would and wouldn't like to see in the upcoming rework? You're already dead, you just haven't cought up yet.

Would like to see the potential for offense in his kit. As he sits he is a completely supportive character in every way. Even his "offensive" abilities are designed to be more of an assistance to opponents than himself. Even other tanks that are team central like Thresh , Leona , and Blitzcrank have potential of offense. Shen feels like he can't really fight anyone 1v1

In case you were not up to date:

He will be getting a new Passive, Q and W. RIOT says they will still retain something close to the same function, but what exactly that means, I don't really know.

They also specifically stated that his E and R would remain mostly the same. So probably some minor tweaks incoming for those abilities.

Personally? I would like his dash to damage minions... I see Warlord Shen's splash art and Im like, dash should hurt minions. :P

I would like to see some kind of thematic passive added to his kit, either as part of his base passive or part of his ult. Shen is the "Eye of Twilight", tell me we can do something with that.
