Extra IP weekends?

Dear Riot, I've been playing your game since it hit shelves and the other day I had gotten into some discussions with other people who I play league with who have only started playing your game since this year. I of course started saying well back in the beginning of league Riot did tons of stuff randomly that made it seem like they cared a lot more and I started listing them off.

-Random double/extra IP weekends. -Free rp for holidays and sometimes just whenever.

I felt like there were more fun events, vote for league get a skin, if we all vote here and win we'll give you this. ( I know things like this fall by the wayside when you've actually made it as a company but it's still a point)

Can you bring back some of the fun?

That sounds pretty cool, they do a pretty good job interacting on the forum along with playing with players that reached 1000 games though.

I haven't been playing for too long, maybe 2 months tops now? Lurking around the forums, I see people talk of days when Riot used to have double IP/XP weekends and such, it would be nice if they were to bring those back. I definitely vote for this :)

They have a TON of stuff planned for later this year :D Tbh I don't need double IP cuz I own all the runes I need and there are only like 6 champs I don't own and I don't want to buy them. Sitting on 8k ip right now, just bought thresh just so I can trade people in ranked but havent played him yet :P

I would agree...since I'm kind of new (only lvl 22). More IP means I can be prepared in playing Ranked Games considering I have more runes and different champions due to extra ip's I can get > Vote up :3

(Suggestion for which champ I should buy next?)

they used to do this mostly when they were having server issues. or were updating big patches. or there were big bugs. i would love to have more free boosts and things. but, i don't think they should give out anymore Free RP from a business standpoint. just doesn't make a lot of sense, it did when they were still a much smaller enterprise. nowadays... i'd be down for more ip boosts though
