I'm uninstalling League.

Not BC I suck, (I'm sure that's what you thought initially) but I've had awful spikes in ping since the latest patch. My favorite game is literally unplayable for me & I'm super bummed about it.

I've seen numerous others posting about this topic in various other places so I get the sense I'm not alone. Also considering this is the only online game I experience these issues with, I reason that the latest patch must be the culprit. Prior to this I was not experiencing these issues.

Hopefully, the issue for myself & others gets addressed in future patches. Until then, I'll be bummed but I see it as pointless for me to keep trying to play a game whose performance is hindering my experience.

I mean, if you need to save space on your hard drive I can see why you would uninstall, but if you have the space why not just avoid playing League until it's fixed?

Yes I have had vicious spikes since. I just can't operate, so I've been sticking with Aram because I can actually turtle during spikes.

Yep.

I've noticed I have fluxuating pings that are determined by the map and the champ I play. Not sure if this is just coincidental, but I have 20 higher ping on the update Summoner's Rift compared to the other 3 maps, and I have 20-50 higher ping every time I play Riven . My lowest pings are when I play adcs or supports on Howling Abyss, but I'm sure it's just coincidental that this is occurring.

dude this is a daily struggle for us people who live on the east coast. do you have any idea how many packets i lose

You join so many of my friends.. It's pretty depressing that one of the biggest games in the world has so many problems which should have been solved years ago.
