Report button in champ select (non-abuseable)

--TL:DR - If 3 or more people report a single person, the champ select is aborted and everyone is returned to queue, except the person who got reported. They get a warning not to flame/troll in champ select, and a 1 min ban from joining any queue.

--If you flame/troll in champ select multiple times over a short period of time, (for example in 24hrs) the games where you were reported go to the tribunal along with champ picks and the chat log. This is to make sure people don't have to deal with report button abuse due to off-meta picks or simply trolls being the ones who are using the button. Something like 8th ban gives a warning, 10th goes to tribunal.

--I'm recommending a return to queue because playing a game with people who just wished each other cancer and hurled insults at their respective cousins is likely to be high stress and low fun. I don't care about the chances to win such a game, it just doesn't sound fun to play, so back to queue it is.

--Why not try this out on PBE? Seems simple and effective. Thoughts?

Edit: The 1 min ban is mostly to keep the banned player from entering a champ select with the same players who voted the kick.

I would support this in ranked.

However, Riot would probably not go for it since it could be used to enforce meta, i.e. only picking top win rate champs for each role.

I mean it could be abused because you could pick an off meta pick and just get kicked out of the lobby.

--This is why it takes 3 votes to return to the queue. So, three of the other 4 players would have to think that your pick is SO bad that they don't want to play with you. Right now, just one person needs to think that and they'll dodge. And I still play games where someone goes Renekton mid, Nasus mid, Malphite mid, Xin support, Blitzcrank jungle... That's with 1 person deciding, not 3. To me it seems like off meta picks aren't very likely to die with the introduction of a report button in champion select.

--As for getting banned for playing off-meta, that is why I suggest 1 min auto bans for getting reported by three people. This is annoying, but not all that hindering. It's mostly to prevent you from falling into the same queue with the people who just reported you. BUT, if you do get reported by 3 people 10 times in 24 h, the games where you were reported go to the tribunal. Here it's not bots deciding, but actual people who can see from the champion picks and the chat in the lobby whether a person was flaming and should get banned, or just someone who was being normal and trying to play an off-meta pick.

--I tried to find something on this topic and I haven't seen a suggestion like the one I'm making here after going through a lot of forum posts here, on the old League forums and on reddit. I would like to see this tried on a server and the numbers tweaked according to the results, to see if it can work. Maybe it takes 20x 3ppl reporting someone, not 10? Live data is needed to make a decision about stuff like that, too many unpredictable factors. But that's why we have pbe... It doesn't seem outlandish to me at all.

--Just went into q for normal draft. Our 1st pick picked Teemo top and someone dodged. I doubt I was the only guy on my team who thought he doesn't mind playing a normal game with Teemo top, and if that was indeed the case, he wouldn't get kicked, not enough votes. So, a report button in champ select wouldn't make the game less fun for that Teemo player.

--Oh come on, is nobody really gonna touch this? League DESPERATELY needs this feature. It would make it possible for ppl who are being d**** in champ select to get punished, hopefully teaching them that it is not acceptable to insult others or not respect that they have an equal right to have fun in this game! READ THIS. UPVOTE IT. WE NEED IT AND IT WON'T ENFORCE THE META.
