Issues with releases that could be solved with transparency

I'm making this post because a lot of players are quite frustrated at having to wait for the new project skins, myself included. That doesn't mean I do not understand that sometimes it is something that needs to be done. What is frustrating however is the lack of transparency regarding release dates. Simply being told to wait without being given a proper time to wait until is extremely frustrating. I have no doubts that Riot games has some sort of release plan for when skins will be unlocked and by letting players know when they plan to unlock the skins that would alleviate a lot of stress and frustration. Waiting for something without knowing when it will come feels like it takes forever, while waiting for something with a set date and time feels less so, even if the wait is longer. I also said "plan" for a reason as often times in software development things simply do not go your way and things don't always work right away. If that happens you simply communicate with players to let them know that the release must be delayed so things like Dark Star Thresh do not happen again.

So on the extremely off chance that a Rioter actually reads this and replies, I hope you take what I have said into consideration. Transparency is an amazing tool and builds trust between you as a developer and your community of customers. Transparency can only improve your situation,provided you aren't doing anything unethical.
