Whats happening to Our L.O.L?

I don't wanna call out the Veteran players or the once who really been enjoying this game for a while, but i am sure you started felling "it". this change. The transition from a fun "friend based" game to play on free time, to a more competitive solo q heavy mission to just rank up. It feels odd to know more and more new players look at this game as only a competitive MOBA, rather than a fun filled outlet. Riot has become a company that just want to expand, sure you gain 100 new accounts willing to pump in money for new champs and skins to back up your esport hype, but was it worth losing the a player that has been there for a extended amount of time, recruiting and devoting them self as a casual player worth it? In the end of the day, i am sad to see on of my favorite game become a corporate sale out for the "esport" market., forgetting what really got them this big. A small band of people willing to call them self a community, willing to play for a fun time and nothing more, willing to back their growth to see improvements added to it for sentimental value instead of competitive diversity . I know that 90% of players are just casuals, but why is our League of Legends moving to force us to the same spots of the 10 percent?

Yes, it is worth it all the way for them to make the game what it is. Competitiveness is a players choice. No one is forcing you the feeling of succeeding in ranked and thus tryhard for it. You hate ranked games? Don't join them. Your post makes no sense. Sorry if this hurt's i am not even trying to be offensive here, but it is what it is.

p.s. Its usually the bad players complaining about things like this. You barely got gold 5 this season. (Love you opgg.com) I bet you wouldn't complain if you where Diamond 4. I am hardly an average skilled player, manage to get plat 2 in 1 season in 1 year of starting the game (Season 4 to 5), i remember making a post similar to this when i was silver....hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Im not complaining because i suck,(i do respectively), but (and i don't know if this is true in your sever) it really hit me when urf came around. When the spirit of fire (im sure you will get the reference) of our servers community focused more on winning than having fun, completely the opposite of when it first released as a Aprils fools joke. Im not ranting because i feel the pressure on ranking up or just playing solo q for that matter ( and for what ever reason that means a lot more to others as the seasons progress), but because there is a lack of reward for people who just wanna play for fun. Its very hard to explain over a key board, but all i wanted to say is: Riot makes it clear that it wants and will reward you for playing ranked as the risk is what makes this game fun, knowing that you HAVE to play better than the other team to win, However Riot gives the casual game nothing. If you don't wanna play ranked fine, then you have you play a normal's and hope they enjoy playing casual too. Or you play with friend that may be or not be online.

Depend on what you want to do on this gamr and "how you have fun".

For example for me i always wanted to do ranked, couse that's what it's fun to me, i like to be challenged and be satysfied when i get better at the game or get up in division.

No one force you to do so anyway, you can play this game "for nothing" just to pass you time in peace. But if i was in you i would really try out the more competitive side of LoL, becuase it's good.

In season 3 i started ranked and i got silver, Season 4 i got gold, Season 5 i got platinum. Each year feels an adventure and stimulate you to get better
