I think that in the hextech crafting screen it should tell you more about the rental. I got the hextech annie shard earlier and i didnt know better, so i rented it. Then a friend told me about the consequences and i got really angry, because it doesnt tell you the consequences of renting a shard.
i dont understand what you believe renting something would mean? it even says as you rent that it is a rental for 7 days. totally a case of you not paying attention.
It does say "Activate; Rental for 7 days" implying that you only get it for like a week.
Renting something is pretty much the same universally. You get that item for a limited time, and once it's over you "return it" and in this case it goes away.
That can be misinterpereted very easily though, like i thought that it would let you use the skin to just try it out to see if its worth keeping or not
Fucking sucks that you lost Hextech Annie, but what would you think a Rental would mean? I mean... /rant
It even says "Rental for seven days" on it. AND If you read the four (possibly more) Hextech guides, at least two of them that renting something throws it out of your shop AND If you look up the word "Rent", you get "pay someone for the use of (something, typically property, land, or a car) for a limited time or until rent is fully paid". AND It even flat-out tells you that you can only use it for a week AND Using something for free for a week then buying it if you want to would mean it's a "Trial", not a "Rental"
You get what I'm saying here? The clues are everywhere. They even put it in the Hextech Crafting Information posts. See that bolded S? POSTS. As in... More than one.
