Why are my promos always filled with rude or unskilled people
but I have a pleasant time climbing the ladder to promos each and every time.
Anybody else have this problem?

I feel like I usually get a great team the first game, a bad team the 2nd, then an average team the 3rd.
because people play ranked.
Some people are rude, some people are just unskilled.
I mean, I got a troll just because I said "Sona is playable." You can't even share opinions in this world without someone taking it too far to be an asshat.
