Being accused of Trolling is like being accused of being a witch.

So, more often than not, in certain games, and I'm not even sure what it is I'm doing that makes people think I'm "trolling" (whatever that even means) But I'll get accused of 'trolling'.

And I find that, as soon as you get accused of trolling, weather you are or are not. Everything you do from that point on is seen as trolling, unless you're doing really well.

I played a game recently. I played teemo top vs a kindred top. Kindred's wolf and just sheer damage, along with her slow caused me to not be able to farm much. It was early on so I asked if someone could switch with me. And no one replied, so instead of feeding my lane, I decided to play under turret and roam when I could.

Anyways, kindred backs so I decide to roam to mid, and then the chat msg comes "[All] Report Teemo for trolling" presumably because I left my lane or something.

No amount of talking or discussion was changing anyone mind. I got told to 'shut up' when I called out the person saying I was trolling. Someone said I had "daddy issues" which, to me was pretty funny but some would find that offensive.

My score was better than anyone elses that game, my CS was very poor as kindred got stacks early and I just couldn't farm without taking massive massive damage, and I didn't want to take anyone else's farm. In-spite of my low CS, I didn't feed as hard as everyone else. And I feel that I did well considering the situation.

On top of the accusations of trolling, being told to shut up, being told that Teemo is a bad champion, that my build was bad, and other such nonsense, the Tahm Kench on our team, the person that happened to be feeding the most, starting hunting me down, picking me up, and throwing me into groups of enemies to die.

I felt he was doing this on purpose. Maybe to try and make me mad, maybe because he was upset. I'm not sure why. But it was clear he wanted me to die.

I asked if anyone saw that because my teammates were around but the only replies I got were to tell me to shut up, or some variation of such.

My main question is, when someone accuses you of trolling, how do you prevent yourself from getting banned or reported? This happens a lot to me. I get called a troll when I play Veigar support, which I know is not really conventional but it works just fine.

I'm currently unranked and not yet level 30 so that might have something to do with all this.

I'm just very tired of being reported for stuff I don't feel I've done.

Is there a way to appeal these kinds of things?

Like perhaps some kind of mini-court. Like I'm sure not every report gets looked at by a RIOT employee and most of the bans just look at how many people have reported you for whichever thing.

I hate being banned from stuff. I only want to play. And I know you can't take my word for it, but there has to be a way I can prove it, I have never once purposefully tried to mess up the game for my teammates. I always try my hardest to win, I don't 'throw'. There are times when I do good, and times when I'm doing not so good. But I never on purpose decide to help the enemy team, 'troll' my teammates (whatever that even means). Or what have you.

And yet, I get reported for things like all the time.

The only thing I could see people reporting me for is my language perhaps. In game it can get fairly crass. But I'm never attacking someone in particular, or groups of people. I'm not homophobic or racist, sexist. I do defend myself. If someone is telling me to do this or that unfairly, I maintain that no one has the right to tell me what to do unless they're my boss or the law, and even that has it's limits, and I'll tell them to shove it.
