Issues with Gold Battle Text

So basically, out of the blue, my settings got all messed up.

Most of it was easily fixed by changing my settings back to what I had before, but my Battle Text got completely screwed. I have every single option ticked in Battle Text, but I still cannot see the gold amount gained.

Again, I have no clue what caused this as it just happened as I got into a game.

This has personally made the game unplayable for me as I have issues telling if I got the minion or not.

I have attempted deleting the Config folder as suggested by this thread: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/7YeMqOEr-gold-not-showing-up-above-minions-after-last-hitting

I also used the Hextech Repair Tool to reinstall LoL.

If you're having trouble telling whether or not you were able to last hit a minion, just watch for the gold animation/sound of gold clinging together. <:

Not what I need help with. The sound also only plays every so often, I believe.

It plays when in shop, for the confirmation of "Yes you've bought / sold this." Those are the only times it plays in the client, the shop sounds (which are different to the point that it's distinguishable between gold gained and shopping) and last hitting a minion with the gold animation playing.
