So I am a Co-op AI player, I DONT PVP, and I have been in many games where people will go past the turrets after lvl 6 and just FARM the daylights outta the bots at their platform, Bots cant get past them to come down the lanes to the summoners who are in the lanes. I've asked a few of the people who do it, "Why?" and I have been told "uninstall noob" "go kill yourself" "Stfu, learn how to farm" Why is this behavior allowed? Cant it be stopped?
Yaknose1 votesI've played quite a few bot games, but I don't think I've ever been in a game where this has happened. This isn't to say that I doubt that it happened to the OP and I'm sorry that people were jerks, but I don't think it's very widespread. I think the best course of action is to report and move on. The vast majority of people in bot games are very relaxed about things, and people who use that kind of language will end up in the tribunal before too long.

Felicias1 votesI actually was a strictly AI player for a very long time. In fact I got to lvl 28 just playing bots. In my case, which might not be the same for the OP, it was because I was afraid of the community. I always googled strategy guides and "how to be a good LoL player guide" and 100% of them had a section called "CALM DOWN" or "DON'T FLAME/HATE" In my head, if all the guides I found had that, it meant there was a serious attitude problem in the community and I should just stay in a setting that isn't very stressful. When I first tried PvP it was in another server, and I was proven right. They were horribly rude! In NA though nicer <3 Just wanted to add my two cents.
OP - Played mostly bots and the only "farmer" I ever experienced were the ones that stood in the blue/red buff and just killed it whenever it spawned.
Solan Stonewhip1 votesi dunno. i'm personally of the opinnion that the introduction ot this game needs a lot of work. there is simply NO easy way to get someone to learn to play this game. especially if they have zero moba/rts experience. even rts doesn't help that much. but learning the micro takes a lot of practice. i don't even really think you get that from bots. bots are just too predictable and i don't really think they take you very far. you just have to play and fail hard in order to eventually get to the point where you are good. but there ought to be a better way of learning
Felicias1 votesI agree. In the... 5? xD.... PvP games I've played it's become painfully clear the Bots are all the same. Very predictable, they either kill you or retreat. I should have listened when I was told to go straight into PvP when I could.
But like BoredMom says, it's that too. I'm a mother of a 4 year old and she has more self control than a lot of the "men/women" in this game. She is nice because I taught her manners sure, but I've never had to punish her for being rude. She is naturally nice. And to get on a game (that too many people take too seriously) after my daughter's in bed, I've studied for my college exams and have done all my cleaning/laundry. I play ironically to relax. I don't want to be screamed at (or should I say CAPPED at) for doing a mistake or perhaps for no reason at all.
I WANT to take the game more seriously. I want to learn, get into ranked and take it seriously, but the attitude people have sometimes just... sucks!
LoLoLegends1 votesI've encountered some rude people, some trolls who deliberately sabotage the game, some people who are fine when winning but become rage monsters when behind, and certainly people I'd never choose to play with again. But you know what? That's been the exception, not the rule.
In truth I've met some pretty cool people in this game. My "friends" list on my main account is a couple hundred people long - all people I enjoyed playing with and look to play with again. The majority of players that I've personally encountered over hundreds of games with ten people in each game have just wanted to win and have fun (disclaimer, I'm referring to unranked Normals games, my understanding is things get a little more tense when LP is on the line - I'll find out this season).
I'm not going to tell you there are no toxic players in the game. There definitely are. But there are also a whole bunch of normal people just looking to have fun, learn, and (hopefully) win. Don't let the fear of the "bad" ones keep you from meeting and playing with the good ones.
To the original poster - like some of the other respondents, I also started out with exclusively AI games. Once I moved to PVP I never went back - it's a totally different (and better) game.
BoredMom2 votesit's the rude, disrespectful people, i'm a grown woman, and HATE when people are disrespectful, and for me it's even worse when I know they are children, I wish I could get my hands on them so I could wash their nasty little mouths out with soap, then make them give me the cables to their computers until they can learn some manners. I try to treat everyone with respect, even those who have not earned it nor deserve it. After a point I will give them a piece of my mind and I don't wanna forfeit the money I have spent on the game.

VexingRaven1 votesClearly you're already encountering those players in coop vs AI, so why would switching to PvP be any different? If you want to get the full experience of the game, you'll have to play PvP eventually. Every bot game is the same. Better to start PvP now than later (although to be honest you're already a bit screwed, being level 30 you'll get thrown in with people with hundreds of PvP games who will stomp you)
