I don't know why I should play ranked
I had won about 20 normal games in a row, and I thought I'd play some ranks to try to get to Silver (currently Bronze I). I got into champion select, got jungle, and then 10 seconds before the game began someone dodged. In the next queue I was last pick, and got stuck with support. I did sort of ok, but the team fed mid and top and we couldn't really get ahead. I decided to play 1 more ranked game, and got stuck in last pick again (It seems that 85% of the time I play ranked I get last pick.) Someone was nice and let me have jungle. I was 7/0 during the early game, but we were inconvenienced because our top lane Jax had disconnected. He finally reconnected, but never grouped, and we were constantly outnumbered. We couldn't pull ourselves together, and we eventually lost.
Also, I find that most of the time I end up against champions that I see as much more annoying than ones I usually play against in Normals
I realize that I'm not good enough at the moment to get to Diamond or anything, probably low gold at best. It seems that pretty much every ranked game I play is a negative experience, and I don't see the point in it. Anyone see a reason why I should?
TL;DR - I am hesitant about playing ranked because of nonstop negative experiences and losses.
