As i was searching through some old league videos i sumbled across a video of the old twisted treeline. I don't know if it was suggested before but i think this map should come back at least for custom game map. Its not like everyone hated this map. I really liked it. It had atmosphere and music in 3v3 was briliant. The strategies and maps were fun and it played really good. It would be really cool to see this awesome map back again. I hope this idea will come through.
Aimfortheeyes1 votesHmm. I did enjoy the original 3v3 map. However, they changed it for a reason. Actually several reasons. [http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=30339335]. They stated that flash was too op in the older map and the games were slower.
It's easy to think that they could just throw it in for fun, and maybe they could, but that would mean they would need another server for it. Which would probably result in slower queue times for other game types. Probably. Maybe I'm just speculating and some rioter is going to tell me off, but it's what I think.
ScrubLord Harvus1 votesI hate to bump such an old thread, but I disagree. The game was always a hard fight to win. And could go over an hour, making that victory feel more accomplishing. Sure, defeats were a bigger waste of time, but I usually felt good even after a loss, as long as I didnt get trolled. I too would love to see this old map come back. It could even use a graphical revamp if you felt like it. But the map itself was great. Pluss legendary buff monsters(dragon) were eventually more manageable. Now you could be lvl 18 with full build on Aatrox and still not solo Vilemaw, which right now with the bots means you cant even take him out in a game. This new map makes using escapes much less viable, since fast enough champs can still run you down the way they would if you were in lane, but you're in the jungle. What riot should have done to smooth it over I think is just change up the items to suit the needed rolls in 3s, rather than rewriting it as if the entire map was wrong.
