finally a break from work and the servers are constantly down, every time i even try to sit down and play it's "attempting to reconnect" and loss prevented games where a whole team dc's....this is getting old, is this game ever going to be playable again?
Yeah... I haven't posted in these forums for a very long time and normally I'm not one to complain but... I've spent over 4 years playing this game and enough money to be ashamed of and I'm honestly contemplating quitting because of this issue. It's my own fault for being addicted to such an extent, I just expected such a popular game to be a little more stable... no matter the circumstances. If their HQ got blown up or something I'd understand haha, but this is a little silly. I've started looking into other MOBAs because it's simply getting too frustrating for me. I get home for work and all I want to do is derp in a game I'm familiar with, and I can't do that.
Shit happens... and it will happen again and again and again, just don't know how long this trial will be.
I stopped playing so much until last night because of the issues, but when I started a game about half an hour ago, we played for a good 15-20 minutes before people started dcing and my ping increased by 80.
I used to love this game so much, but I'm slowly losing interest.
It's DerpTrolling I think. I want some explanations but Riot hasn't provided any. Judging by DerpTrolling's twitter I think they've been attacking our servers for awhile. It'd be nice if we got some details on why the issues are happening.
I've been waiting almost 10 minutes to log in, I kept getting "Servers are currently busy. Please try again later." Then I finally got in the waiting list to log in, at first it said approximate time: 8 minutes and then after 5 minutes it changed for "calculating" and now it's at over 1h. I can only imagine how bad the games most be for disconnections and loss preventions Dx
Honestly. Three sessions of loss prevented today alone, costing people their ranked wins. Hop on your server repair, Riot.
Of course not, they're busy releasing the new client that's just the old one but shinier with a green tint, getting a new champion setup, and vocalizing about this season's ranked fights. We'll get good servers when they're done giving us all the unimportant stuff to actually having a playable game.
I've been on all weekend, don't bother with ranked though. ARAMs is where it's at, because then who cares if you DC?
