IP to Orange Essence Conversion Idea

Ever been maddeningly close to unlocking a new skin, and only being like 8 orange essence short, with no chests available for up to 7 days and a distinct lack of luck from key fragments and/or unboxings giving you more than one card in a given category? (Run-on sentence LOL) If so, read on and comment feedback below!

What do you all think about the possibility of having an IP to orange essence conversion system? I say 12600 IP for like 500 orange essence, perhaps 6300 IP for 250. (I hesitate to suggest 6300 IP for 500 orange essence because there are an undisclosed amount of people who play so damn much that they have 100k-200k and upwards stored up. )

However, the unknown amount of people who already own all the champions/runes/etc that they want, making the cost of the essence the cost of 1-2 champions (almost a summoner name change with the 12600), the amount of people who would rather add a new champ to their pool or buy set after set of runes, is still likely higher than the number of hoarders. Making sense so far?

I did a forum search for this, but it's always hard to come up with the right keywords apart from "essence", "orange", "conversion", and nothing came up for me. Anyways, I think Misc. was a good category for this as the essences don't really fall into the gameplay category.
