Why is Yorick really being reworked?

Well I am excited for the Yorick rework but why is Riot really reworking him? It's not because he's nerfed into the ground as some people think, he's actually too strong and that makes his gameplay terrible because it is always a lane stomp. You may not always win in kills but the lane pressure is disgusting and his general role of being able to defy death allows him to have an immense pressure on the enemy team at all times.
