Support Zilean: Ulti Restore mana with ratio Rito where?

Dear Riot,

I know people took him mid and he did fine, but please consider looking into support Zilean. While all the other supports are getting new toys, and with the looming threat of a passive rework, please consider the fact that Zilean right now has to incorrectly prioritize champions based on their mana level and not their ability to contribute to the teamfight.

This creates scenarios in which players can, through no fault of their own, make the correct choice (to ulti the most fed and capable member of their team in a dire situation)only to have that player be unable to do anything but limp away from the teamfight because they have no mana.

While I know marksman are incredibly valuable, and that they usually ( Lucian, Graves, etc being noted exceptions ) stop leaning on their abilities once teamfighting occurs, they are not always high priority ulti targets. Sometimes, they become shut down and the teams damage is skewed to other members, and other times their good positioning and solid teamplay means they are not at the same levels of risk.

As a Zilean player I want to have the right to support a Malzahar just as easily as a Varus if their good mechanics has allowed them to reach a point in the game where they are carrying the team. With a small ap or mana ratio on a mana restore, Zileans ultimate would allow a Brand or Gragas to get back into the fight in the same way it would currently allow a Draven or a Lee Sin.

The "Zilean equivalent" item, Guardian Angel, already does this and the balance of the game has not been severely disrupted.

Nami players don't have a kit that heavily favors energy based or AD focused allies, I think it's time Zilean didn't either.
