Should people that leave games really be banned? Opinions? (reason why below)

First off I don't know if this is the right section but: So I've been playing the PBE mostly alot not because the live game just really isn't fun and it brings back the fun in the game to help with finding bugs but the thing is you see people always trolling in there, for example; you go into a blind pick game and the average game its usually who ever calls lane first. Yet everytime I join a game (PBE and LIVE game) It seems that even just trolls and says "Mid or feed" or "Guess we are gonna double top or double mid" Shouldn't you ban those people for being toxic? Because people who leave most of the time are just people that don't want to deal with those trolls and they get punished for it but having to wait 5-13 minutes+ to play the next game. Why not just ban those people that are so toxic and make there job to ruin everyone elses game experience. I would like as much feed back as you can, Hateful feedback is understandable. Just give your opinions as you see fit. item 3070 item 3070

Well no, leavers (who do it often enough) should get banned. They're still hurting others who want to play.

Frankly, you're not going to get banned if you only leave when someone else is trolling you (and even though dodging sucks, why is playing with a troll then afk'ing any better?)...

That isn't to say the "mid or feed" trolls and other champ select trolls shouldn't be banned. They should be, and rapidly with very few warnings. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior and i don't think anyone wants it in the game. I'd personally rather have longer queue times and have all of those players banned.

First step is Riot giving us an option to report while in champion select. I'm astonished we still don't have the ability to report at that point - there's absolutely no reason not to have it. I'm not saying we need a vote kick, not saying we should get a free Dodge, nothing abusable, just a simple report button that doesn't do anything other than send a report with the champion select chat log to Riot (after which you can either play, or dodge with penalties as you desire).

Aren't PBE players supposed to be from the least toxic players in the game?

My opinion on the matter is like this.

You want to leave a Normal game because of an emergency? Fine, so be it. It happens. But if you leave out of spite, rage quit or to troll the team... The I will report. I don't care if it's Normals or not as it's a waste of my time when the game is intentionally thrown.

If people queue up for a Ranked game with the knowledge that there is a chance that it will be interrupted or that you will have to leave the game. I report them.

The only valid reason I do not report people is if it's out of their control. Such as Riot server issues, their internet connection or an emergency happens. Everything else is inexcusable.

In regards to people leaving due to trolling. I report them as well. There is a mute button and report button. If you choose to not use them and just leave as your first resort, then you shouldn't be playing this game, much less being on the internet where trolls run rampant.
