So my account recently got permanently banned for using announcer packs and I am completely confused, the announcer pack I was using was on front page on Reddit and a lot of streamers use them, I was also not aware that it is against LoL's terms and conditions since I'm sure it is only illegal if you're somehow getting an advantage (hacking and scripts etc) over other players. I really think that is too harsh considering I did not even receive a warning or anything.

pack I used, it's also on the official league of legends website posted by a riot employee located on the last posts on the right side

league has no right since its not breaking any rules of modding for client side if they do this they are breaking their own rules and they can get sued for this i work for blizzard and we have mods currently used for starcraft2 created by carbot a youtube animator. blizzard doesnt get income from this since we welcome all community content made by players to extend the fun of the game. the only exception i see that league would take action for is skin related mods that allow you to get free skins. since this is client side only you hear and see this content. so i will shorten this a bit in stupid terms for riot to know :I "if they don't get income from content they will ban you no matter if it is being client side " so currently there isn't any rules for modding it but i wouldn't recommend it unless you had riot permission.
